BOGGLER Rules
─────────────
BOGGLER is a word game that challenges the players to find as many
words as possible from a 4x4 square of random letters. Players can
connect the letters to form words. The path connecting letters does
not have to be straight - you can connect any letter to any other
adjoining letter to form large words. The only restriction is that
you can use each letter only once per word.
What each player will need:
1. A pen or pencil
2. Something to write on
3. Keen observation skills
After each board is set up, the players will have three minutes to
find and write down as many words as possible. The words only count
if they have three or more letters. When the time is up, each player
takes a turn reading each of their words aloud. All other players
must remove duplicated words from their list. When all duplicate
words have been removed, each player tallies their score. Each word
is worth one point per letter in the word. The winner of a round is
the one with the most points. Remember - the best way to win is to
find words that no one else has! You might want to play for a
winning total after several rounds. If you have a large group, you
might want to play "elimination" where the lowest scoring player of
each round is removed from the game - the last one left wins!
